My friend and I had lunch today at Madison’s wine garden. I had the special chicken marsala. It was exceptional. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. The executive chef even delivered our entrees to us. That was a great surprise. I highly recommend the wine garden for lunch in Highlands. It is an exceptional experience.

Wow, lunch at Madison's was the highlight of our weekend getaway. The food was great, the atmosphere elegant yet cozy, and the service was absolutely first rate. Carlos, said he had been a server at different restaurants for 11 years but Madison's was the first place to make him really want to provide service as good as the food - and that attitude came through in every interaction. We had a reservation but that was not necessary on Sunday morning anyway.

We had dinner and breakfast....and room service. Loved room service. The chicken salad and tenders were great. The breakfast platter was nice also but the chicken sausage should be a breakfast sausage versus some smoked chicken sausage. At dinner, it was nice. It didn't have to be this "fine dining" idea. I am being nice with the 5-star and maybe it was really more like 4-star but service was always nice and the hotel was great. Presentation was perfect. Yes, everything about 50% higher than "normal" but again, it is Old Edwards. Gatlinburg and the dinner feuds are down the mountain.

We had breakfast as a part of our package during our stay at 200 Main. Totally loved everything about it! The food and ambiance were fantastic, and the service was superb! Definitely will return and I highly recommend.

Tucked away inside the Old Edwards Inn, Madison’s has unique charm for a nice dinner out. My husband and I recently went to celebrate my birthday. Our one knock came at the beginning with the bar so far away from the restaurant and a small space that felt more like a library. Once seated, we had a very nice waiter who was very attentive and helped us choose on a menu of items that all sounded wonderful. My husband got the stuffed pheasant and couldn’t stop raving at the flavor. That was u til he tried my steak. Perfectly cooked medium rare with a crisp outside. We also both enjoyed two different salads (one arugula and the other a Caesar). If you are looking for a nice dinner out in the area, very worth putting at the top of your list to consider.

We stumbled upon Madison’s at the Old Edwards Inn based on a friend's recommendation for a late lunch. Although we were informed that lunch service ended at 2 PM, arriving at 2:10pm, we were pleasantly surprised when they seated us regarrdless with smiles on their faces. We started with two glasses of Riesling and their fabulous trout dip. The service was a perfect 10 out of 10, and the staff was incredibly lovely. For lunch, we ordered the liver and couldn’t resist trying the shrimp and grits, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. Later, we made our way to their Hummingbird Bar for cocktails and tasted their signature caramelized bread pudding, which was nothing short of fabulous. If you're in Highlands, there's no better place to stop for a drink, a bite to eat, or a divine meal. Also, such a beautiful place full of history!

Madison’s at Old Edwards Inn is a beautiful, elegant yet cozy dining spot - a perfect setting to conclude our birthday getaway in Highlands. Since we were staying at the historic inn, dining at Madison’s felt like a great extension of our experience. The staff was attentive and well trained - always present but never intrusive. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making for a memorable meal. Next time, we will aim to try one of the booth seats by the windows. We appreciate the team’s thoughtful birthday wishes, which added a personal touch to the evening. The only thing that could have made the experience even sweeter? A complimentary chocolate treat to end the night.
